PHP & Google Maps API Help With Locations

    Ive been stumped on trying to find a solution for what Im working on and before I go any further I wanted to make sure it was possible.

    I have a script that outputs the users city and state location (i.e. Miami, FL) on the page; that is in Javascript.

    What I was trying to do was create a map via Google Maps of their city, but what it looks like im limited to is latitude and longitude variables. I have a database of lat & lng for each city or zipcode in the US but because the users location is spit out in javascript, I cant seem to get it grab the info, only echos the actual javascript form.

    Anyone have any suggestions? If you know a solution and want to code it yourself, PM me and ill pay you with epass or paypal
