Is there a good PHP Framework that provides a straightforward user interface for accessing a mysql database? I've looked and most are so bloated, looking for something pretty straightforward.
your question is quite difficult for understanding If you mean to say you wanna give uses access to mysql server via web then phpmyadmin will be the best idea to use. If you want something very simple to write queries for php applications then phpmyadmin also can come handy as its query builder gives PHP syntax for writing queries. If you wanna know if you can use tables as an objects and its fileds as its attributes or members variables then any good MVC framework can do the trick for you .. personally i have found ruby on rails doing it very good but its in Ruby ... for php try out codeignitor
No, its not available publicly, yet I am thinking to release it. I will release it as soon as I got some time.
designcode : i would like to have a look into your framework, if it really excites me for development i can contribute in framework modules
sadcox66 : I am also doing some work in drupal ... framework seems quite strong but lack of documentation and complicated terminology have stressed me a lot for understanding framework ... honestly speaking still finding it toooo difficult though i have done some forums using forms API
designcode - I asked as well, please send me details if you didn't get my PM. rays - I have a beta testing project coming out if you are interested, requires php and mysql experience.
pc_user, I didn't get your PM. Rays I will inform you first, when I will plan to release this framework.
