At the bottom of all Viart websites you see the phrase Free Ecommerce Shopping Cart Software by ViArt in the footer and it is linked to Viart.com.

On the Viart website it said it can be removed by activating on the Viart website. I am looking for a way to remove it without activation. Anyone know of a way to do it manually?

Run a search algorithm to search for that block of text in every file and subfolder of your installation directory.

Easy to do, but chances are you'll be violating the AUP of the software and you may be entitled to a 'cease and desist' order or worse...

Perhaps the link is encrypted so people like yourself cannot remove it in this way? :)

Is there a way to remove it even with it being encrypted?

Yes, but removing it definitely sounds like its against the AUP.

Just register it, otherwise it looks very (cough) fishy.

If it's not free, then surely a single link back is enough payment for using the software.
