PHP CODE to detect the firewall in client system

    No, unless the firewall sends a header informing you the firewall is there. (or some other method.)

    Hello sujithfem,

    You can, but you will need to install an ActiveX controler on client system to check for the firewall, but this involves the user to download and install ActiveX before testing. ActiveX controls are limited to Windows environments.

    The clients firewall could be at the router level as well, doesn't necessarily mean it's on his/her system.

    You can check for open ports in PHP if that is what you are asking.

    Yes and no, this would entirely depend on whether or not the web host in question has a firewall. Typically, if that host has any concerns for security, there should be one.
