I have different books in PHP & MySQL but I am very much needed a book containing detailed data driven application project on a particular topic. I personally learned reading Kevin Yank's book. "How to build a database driven website". If you have the basics of HTML and have at least somewhat managed a website before (know how ot use FTP, etc.) then this book is great for those types of people. It does not assume that you know anything about MySQL or PHP and starts with the basics.
