PHP + Bind ... Possible?

    I am thinking of starting a free dns site like afraid.org or no-ip.org.
    Would it be difficult for PHP to communicate with BIND and add a dns zone?

    You just need give the conf file permission, then use php to write to it. Then create a crontab script that reloads the config every hour or something.
