    If you can guarantee that 25% of the company will earn the coder 50k (I'm assuming you mean 50k USD?) then you must be pretty confident of your product.

    If you are this confident, then why don't you just actually pay the programmer for his work; this way you will not have to give away a 25% share of your incredible company.

    Or is it just another one of those ideas that makes you a millionaire in your spreadsheet? I have lots of them.
