I need affiliate tracking scripts for my site.

    1. When User arrives via an affiliate site, a check is made against the affiliate DB table, and a cookie is planted for 1 yr.

    2. After checkout, if the affiliate cookie exists on the client, then payment is credited to the affiliate via a record being created in the db

I can and have done this very quickly in asp.net, but i need this in php right now.

Im sure someone can send me the required php scripts and table creation sql for $10.

yeah pretty much done it now, ive barely programmed php before and it takes me like 45 mins to write from scratch. An experienced php programmer can pick up throw me the code he already has in 5. I was sort of pricing it based on that - i just needed something to start me off didnt need the hand holding.

Just out of interest, what would be a fair price for this in your opinion? I just dont know what peoples expectations are here. Say there are 2 php script of 40 lines each and 1 table creation script.

Well I don't know about other people but regardless of the job unless it is a real quick fix I wouldn't really bother for less than $30. Thats my opinion and I am from the UK. There are people on here from developing countries willing to work for a lot less.

I would probably have done you this for around $50 if I was writing the code from scratch.

    :D
