hmmm try not to be so harsh, guys, and provide some useful help! It has potential but remember, free space is good! Not every corner of the image has to be filled up with something. That is actually the biggest part that makes it look amateur. Also instead of using clouds for the background (not that it looks horrible, its that it way too overused), try a nice gradient with maybe a light pattern? I don't know how it will look but i'm just throwing out ideas that usually work. You may want some better contrast between the background and justin(foreground) Anyway, hope it helps, keep us updated with your tries
the coloring is pretty cool, one thing to keep in mind though, if you're going with the complex detaily kinda background, it's good to have a wider thicker font so that it doesn't get lost in the background. check out dafont.com for a range of free fonts, all previewable based on your text.
The font can really make or break the whole design. Try searching for free fonts and install them in your pc so you'd have a wider variety of fonts to choose from. The color is okay but as another post said, it would've looked neater if JT was integrated in the background as well as the text. But that's just personal style so it's still up to you. Also, don't be afraid of duplicating brush strokes and playing with their layer options! You'd be surprised at the effects you'll get. Oh, I'm saying this assuming you're using Photoshop.
