Photoshop Watermark Issue

    Hi,

    I have an image hosting web site that watermarks images as they are uploaded.

    What would cause a png watermark with white text at 50% Opacitywith a transparent background to be placed on images as block of white background?

    When I change the background to black and text white it works correctly.

    This is driving me nuts!

    Any ideas why this is happening?
