    Isn't Fireworks vector based while Photoshop is bitmap? correct me if I'm wrong?

    Erm, pdf is Photoshops own format and EPS is for Illustrator and PDF is for Acrobat, all Adobe Products. Only one of them is used on the web as well.

    I use Photoshop because, it offers a better range of features.

    You're wrong. :) Photoshop used to be Bitmap, but now it does both. Illustrator is what you want for vectors really. Does Fireworks support graphics tablets?

    I know pdf is macromedia / adobes, as far as I knew the discussion wasn't targetting which formats were utilised on the web, the only ones i use are png, gif n Jpeg as a rule.
    PSD is photoshops own format, and PS seems to have president over acrobat opening PDFs.
    Yes its got lots of features:)

    Yeah, sorry if I seemed a bit rude :) It reads a bit rude anyway.

    If you have a choice Photoshop is always going to win hands down. It has far better support of Multi Cores and GPU's too, if you get Extended, which is a bit poor I admit those 'extras' should be standard considering the costs.
