I personally think its a bit too cluttered with ads as far as the ads aren't separate from the content, but I'm sure you'll earn more money because of "miss clicks"... For the most part I would recommend spacing the images/advertisements and content out a bit just to give it a better flow, but over all a decent site.
Hi 1. I would suggest creating categories for the left hand menu instead of the "archive" thats currently in place. 2. right at the top of the page place something so its clear that this site is a photoshop tutorial website. 3. A real site search would be better rather than the google search you currently have. 4. Wordpress is a much better option over blogger ( consider migrating over to wordpress.org ) 5. read 4
it Loads fast, for me. its ok, for the purpose of the adsense topic, but reallly i do not find friendly for visitors but is you giving resukts , thats fine.
Ok, I've waited a bit before replying to all the many replies you guys gave me. First of all I want to thank you all for give me so much advice and really giving me good and important feedback. I've made a few changes to the blog, hopefully this will give a better experience to the visitors. I wish there was an easy way to create a 'categories' section in blogger, but I simply can't find that option. And about the ads, you know.. I spend so a lot of my time creating these tutorials, so it would be nice to get something back for all that work.. Hopefully it won't be to distracting to the visitors but I do wish to collect some clicks. If anyone has more comments I'd love to hear them, thanks once again for all of your help!
If Blogger has a HTML widget, you could make your own category section in sidebar . example.... <p> Categories <a href="www.yoursite.com/brushes.html>Brushes</a> <a href="www.yoursite.com/pattens.html>Pattens</a> <a href="www.yoursite.com/actions.html>Actions</a> </p> This would be very easy if you use wordpress. Blogger to wordpress Takes about 5 minutes If you need cheap hosting try 3ix.com, its only $1 a month
Thanks for the code man, I tried something new on the left side. It's recent posts with thumbnails. What do you think about that? Thanks Pratik, I worked quite hard on arranging that in a good way
The recent post is better, But category selection is still only available from the homepage. Does your theme have an option for a nav menu ?
Hmm.. I'm not sure it has a nav menu. Are you talking about Pages? I could add Pages - tutorials- home - about for example.. Will that be good? And doesn't the recent post on the left stay through out all the pages? When I checked it does..
Hey I just noticed you have google ads at the top of the webpage, Just place your custom html menu above the google ads. You could consider contacting another Photoshop Tut site and ask if you can add some of their tuts to your site, this would give you more content. Thx
Ok cool.. I added pages to the top of the layout. I added a 'about and contact' page and 'home' page. Is that better? And good idea to link to other tutorials
Very spectacular I love the design and the simplicity, everything is very userfriendly and proffesional.
