Photoshop Tutorial Website Redone... Is it too Bright?

Hey guys,

Recently I completely redone my website www.webdevtutorial.com from the ground up. Mod rewritten all my urls and everything~

The design is simple but do you think its a bit bright?
I'm not sure why I chose this colorscheme but at the time I kinda liked it

I like the layout. I would suggest a muted color scheme that would better contrast with the white background.

 

the design is just great. simple and nice to the eye

I like the G AdSense too, well aranged the first one on top. I'd have clicked myself

I'd only suggest you to add some onmouseover effects for the left menu and top menu, I don't see anything now

when I am on tutorials, the HOME menu is still highlighted

also, make the forum header just like your site's it'll look better

 

I liked the bright colors, it's probably the background color I would tweak.. And you must have done a great job with the addsense because even after going back and looking again, I dont see it! heheh

 

i think the white should be another color but thats just me

 

Thanks for all the reviews guys! The site is still undergoing some fixes as you can see not all the pages are perfected yet. Good idea about the mouseover effects, I'll add that to the list.

I'm also planning to add a custom google ad rotator which will rotate ads on the front page to keep everyone on their feet Hopefully that'll rake in some more $$!

Also the comments about the backgroudn color, what color do you guys think I should change it to? Darker color or a light blue?

but you may want to change the colors......so dudes doesnt like that kind of color

 

Change the colors? Well personally I believe its impossible to accomadate everyone's preference in colors in design since one individual might like blue and another might prefer pink. I'm trying to find a balance where the site is clear, simple and bright enough so that users will not feel uncomfortable when reading my webpage.

I think the color is a bit too bright. Also, you can add a similar adsense link in the middle also, just like on top.
