I'm looking to sell OptikTutorials.com, but only if the price is right. Site is listed for sale on SitePoint.com as well. I do have a reserve and am not obligated to sell unless it is met.

    URL: www.optiktutorials.com
    Established: August 2006
Monthly Revenue: $80-100 via Adsense (view screenshots )
Monthly Traffic: 10,000 uniques / 30,000 page views (view stats )
    Description:
OptikTutorials is a photoshop resource site that offers tutorials, patterns, c4d renders. The site currently has 15 tutorials, 50 photoshop patterns, and 50 c4d renders. This content alone is worth over $300. Many of the tutorials are listed in major tutorial directories like Good-Tutorials, Pixel2Life, PSlife, TutorialKit, Tutorialized, and many more. The site is ranked very high in the search engines for keywords such as 'c4d renders' 'render pack' and other keywords (view stats for more info). The site has 122 backlinks according to MarketLeap.com.

** You will receive 100% exclusive rights to all of the content listed above other than the patterns which I bought the rights to be able to offer it on the site. **

I just replied to a user that said the same thing on the sitepoint auction. Yes it is against adsense tos, however it has been like that on OptikTutorials for numerous months and I have not received any emails from them.

There are also many sites out there that do the same thing including http://www.pslover.com/ which gets much much more traffic that OptikTutorials. If the winning bidder wishes for me to remove the images next to the ads, or add a line between them (which would then make the ad placement perfectly ok w/ adsense tos) I will.

See FarnerOak's post. Just because you haven't been picked up on it previously and others are doing it doesn't make it right. Naturally Google don't allow it because it distorts clickthrus, hence your rev figure may not be a fair representation of revenue for a potential owner because they would have to do the right thing and remove the images, lest they want to be banned by Google.

With the images next to the ads it makes the site a very risky buy. You already know that Google has cached versions of your site. Even if someone buys the site and then removes the images, you can't guarantee that Google will be looking at the most current version of the site.

Also, I know one webmaster (this is first hand info) who had his site banned from showing adsense ads because of the images next to his ads. His account wasn't banned but it rendered the site useless and he had to transfer the site to a new domain and set up 301 redirects...

Even with lines it is against TOS. If has a great risk for anyone planning to buy this site because of possible ban.

I just read that after I added the lines. I've removed the images next to the ads.
