Photoshop gradient question

    Hi,

    I have a layer that contains a light colored pattern. I'd like to add a gradient overlay to it with a blueish color, but when I try to select the color it always turn to grey. Why is that?

    Sounds like your document isn't set up properly try;

    image > mode > rgb (for web) cmyk (print)

    That should work :)
