Ok Im in the process of building a website using a .psd template.

All was good with the initial index.html page.

I have now been asked to add more pages to the site. So what I did was just use the original index page in PS and customised it to make about 5-6 other pages then hit SAVE AS thus creating all my pages with the same template.

When I opened dreamweaver to upload the site, it seems like all the layers are all jumbled with each other. All the pages are the same jumbled mess even the original index page. Now i figured out how to get my index page back to normal but it wont allow me to make any other pages.

I tried again and this time went "save for web" and when the box came up saying "these items already exist yada yada will be replaced yada", i clicked cancel and it wont work.

Im thinking that I either need to rename every item on every seperate page or go out on the town and drink myself silly and forget all about it :p

The first person that solves my problem gets $20, enough for nearly 2 jager-bombs.

Are you sure you didn't accidentally upload two different pictures to the same page?

It sounds like you have saved all your pages to the same psd. What you need to do is show only the layers that you want for a certain page, then do the save for web thing and clip out all the images. If that doesn't work, try saving each page as a jpg and then clipping out parts from that page. And if that doesn't work, you can always try saving each page on a separate psd.

Also, you might want to check and see if photoshop is naming the images or other parts with the same names as your other pages. This could create some conflicts.

    Good luck. Hope this helps.

i used the original .psd image as the template for all my other pages. I have 6 seperate .psd files but in the images folder i only have the original images, shouldnt i have 6x more pictures etc?

i think i just need to nut out how to duplicate all the image files and rename them so all 6 pages have unique image files.

is there a quicker way to do it rather than manually?

If the images are the same for every page then you dont need 6x of each picture. You could try try exporting each page into their own separate file and then manually condensing them into one.

And I have no idea if there is a quicker way to organize your image files.

    Good Luck.
