I use CS3 at work. I like the old interface a lot more, I get very annoyed when I drag a menu too far to the right and it merges with the icon bar...also, I don't like how the toolbar can't be clicked and dragged. I'm sure these can be edited somehow, but I haven't figured it out.

i think the big difference bw CS2 and CS3 is that you do not have to go to dream waver to do the animation in CS3. you can do it from the photoshop itself. in CS2 or older versions, after doing the design you have to go dreamwaver to do the animation

    Dreamweaver? What the hell?

I think you are thinking of ImageReady. ImageReady is an animator, Dreamweaver is a Web Design program

Secondly, you CAN do Animation with CS2 as well. I have CS2, and I have that capability. I can go straight into ImageReady.

As a photographer, PS3 owns previous versions - much better RAW image support and functions not to mention an actual B&W tool for once.

I find its a lot faster then CS2... CS3 loads like 5x faster then CS2 loads.

Although ive been using it for a long time, so dont know how much faster it is, just remember waiting for along time to get cs2 to load.

A great designer will use the tools at his disposal, I don't really feel the need to purchase cs 3 after the trial run, just gonna stick with cs 2.

I upgraded from CS2 and I definitely notice a difference. Besides a small clipboard paste bug I had on Vista, CS3 has been great.

Personally I haven't notice that much of a difference between CS2 and CS3 other than the looks of it.
