$40 prize to someone who can flawlessly remove the silver bar from the top of this image which says "THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON": Here is the full-sized image download: http://www.quantumleap-alsplace.com/img/merchandise/dvd/dvdseasontwocover2.jpg $40 prize will be paid by PayPal for the best entry. As soon as a good enough entry is posted I will close the competition and pay out the winner immediately. Final image must be saved in lossless format (e.g. PNG) to avoid double-compression from saving back into JPG.
LOL! You've chopped off the DVD cover's top altogether, dude. I don't think thats what the thread opener wanted. To the thread opener, I'm gonna send in my stuff in a few hours - hopefully. Cheers.
CourageTheCowardlyDog: Thank you, I look forward to your entry! ariyes: Very amusing I definitely want the whole top of the image though, as CourageTheCowardlyDog says. I could crop it myself if that's what I wanted
Oh, and just to point out, it needs to be a 24-bit lossless format, e.g. PNG, TIFF - so entries in GIF are not acceptable.
Yes, still available. First one to post what I consider an excellent removal of that top silver bar will win the prize.
here is my try. http://www.cognitivedezines.com/dvdseasontwocover21.jpg This is a low res file for viewing purpose only. I will give you finally the PNG or Tiff file. The file size is also intact. I have not chopped it off. Regards Moka
Here is mine http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/729/imagerqy.png original size with PNG. watermark will be removed. Let me kow thanks
@ Moka and oalds : any problem to post link with full size image?? because it can be difference to see in low res image and big res image
Here man! enjoy watermark will be removed anything you want changed just ask, i will also supply you with the psd for further editing!
I agree - can you two guys (Moka & oalds) please repost with a watermark? Or just repost the top half of the image. It's really hard to see when it's so small.
Nick2012: Yours seems to be the closest so far. The top-right section looks good, but the middle section where those light rays go up has lost a lot of detail. Let me bump this compo up to $40 to make it more interesting for everyone and hopefully get some even better entries. As above, payment will be by PayPal. Check my iTrader and see that I'm legit.
The lines at the top middle still look weird. If you're using Photoshop, try using the Vanishing Point tool - it's ideal for cloning things which are in perspective like those lines... http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photoshop/ss/cs2vanishing.htm
