nice work guys! sandrodz, the subway one is great. very good exposure on it. Kerosene - awesome macros! I don't have a lot of insects myself so I often marvel at others work in this area! I am an enthusiast as well, just ditched my old web site in lieu of this: timsdd. I shoot pretty much anything but I love macro as well. I used a 2 lens macro setup for these. The last one, the m&m will give you an idea of the area of which the entire frame covers...not very big with that magnification! air bubbles in hand sanitizer: a cookie: 4 nails with sheet rock dust on the tips: m&m:
Love the m&m, great colours. I've been meaning to take some 'around the house' macros for months. Much more pleasant that crawling around the garden looking for bugs.
Tks, the m is a longtime fav. I hear that, me no crawly! The cool thing about around the house too, unlimited supply of subjects! here's a stash of 90 that I've done with this setup: http://www.flickr.com/photos/timsdd/sets/72157594419362719/ Thank you! How long have you two been shooting?
I've been into this for good enough... started with p&s and went up for like 4 years. Now I'm shooting DSLR,
can't beat the DSLR. I started shooting forever ago with a 35mm Minolta Maxxum, didn't really get serious about photography though until this decade
I still haven't moved to DSLR. I use a Fuji S9500 (9mpx) with a Raynox macro lens. I borrowed a 350D for a while, thinking I might get one - but I just couldn't bring myself to spend the money when I couldn't really see the image difference against my Fuji. I guess I'll eventually make the move to DSLR, but I'd want to have some serious spare money to spend on lenses.
Nice photographs Did you do any photoshopping at all to the photographs? If not, the colors are wonderful
that's a nice camera. I could see not wanting to make the jump BUT I couldn't live wihtout being able to change lenses. Having a really nice lens is something foreign to me, I just barely bought some sweet ass glass. So now I don't have any excuses if my photos suck that particular series I did PS in order to attain the colors to some extent. Most of the time I don't jack with them too much. 1) my PS skills aren't that good, 2) My attention span is like 7 minutes so if I can't PS in 7 I'm done!, 3) I'd rather shoot than edit!!!
Nah. Me no lizard. It's nearly healed up, a couple of mm to go. Next time I need to remember to cauterise it. Samantha would eat me for breakfast I'm sure.
I heard that! (on both) my little pony hairbrush (not mine!!!) a shredded memory module, this is one chip off of my RAM module I killed :-( etch-a-sketch:
There are so many great photographs on here have you tried selling stock photographs (at istock) or even joining photography forums? They all look so professional (well atleast compared to mine)
great shots!... it's nice to see these pictures... thank God for having that kind of talent you have guys!...
I went to the buda castle tonight... that was fun! magnificent chain bridge buda side. Budapest, Hungary.
