Ive often thought about using a photobucket account to upload the images for my webpages.. and so save on my bandwidth costs.

does anyone else do this? or are there some major drawbacks i haven't thought about?

Drawbacks are that they can take the images off, it looks unprofessional to see that 'bandwidth limit reached' or 'image broke our terms' in the middle of a website..

There aren't many upsides apart from the 'it decreases our bandwidth usage' which is minor.

I would say just upgrade your bandwidth--and it is also hard to manage.

Get a pro account, it is only like 20 lousy bucks a year and no bandwidth problems

right.. but do they often take images off?

is what im talking about against their terms and conditions?

how much bandwidth are you allowed to use from them?
