Email them back and ask them to ring you or get their number and you ring them then get their cc number then you process their order and email them the package.
fuck sake these people are really paranoid. lots of my mates parents wont put their CC anywhere near the internet. but are happy to give it to any old stranger over the phone!?! lol
I agree with the phone ordering. My one affiliate program takes phone orders and gives me credit for them....60% of my orders are from the phone! Just think if i didn't get credit for those?
The only way phone orders would work for affiliates, is if each affiliate had a seperate extension # or something like that.
well I seen some sites where it says on the home page to give a code when you call..but the problem is that aff generated code was only on the home page...not on everypage.. Im happy with my internet orders.. f**k the phone sales
The more payment options your client has - the more chances for you to make a sale, however I noticed that phone orders are much more popular with physical products and not digital. I have just released a new product (video) and I am selling it on my own, without affiliates - so no clickbank. So far I had one person call me wanting to order, so I helped them out, but all the rest are okay with paypal. I guess if you do have a great offer that really makes the client want to purchase - they will, no matter how
certainly the older generation are much less comfortable with giving out their details over the internet ... so all depends what demographic you are aiming for
I am surprised a smart programmer hasn't developed a phone ordering software that would store affiliate info and just process the order through clickbank like a normal sale. So the sales page would have a order by phone option. When they call, it would be an automated system. Once processed it would generate an order through clickbank using customer entered info. Once ordered, software would send email to customer with download link. I am not a programmer so this may be an impossible process or to expensive to create. I think every publisher would buy one though. At $99 a pop someone could make a fortune.
There'd have to a good way of making sure affiliates get credit for phone orders but yeah I wouldn't be too surprised to see them implement some sort of phone order system in the future. On the other hand, I'm not sure the reward is worth the cost.
