    Greetings,

From past 2 days I am getting a phone verification screen after signing up for Google Mail..

Thats happening to you aswell?.. I mean since when a Free Email service need our Phone.??

I tried to register via my personal PC and it did not asked any verification there..
I am a Link builder so I create 10-12 gmail accounts daily for purposes.. is thats why I am getting this?

Each email i create will have my phone number attached somewhere?
    Kinda Wiered for me..

It wasn't there when I created my account..
Oops.. I thought you were talking about Adsense Account. I have no idea why you are getting this for creating a Gmail account.
Do you have a static IP BTW?

Wow! Does Gmail increase verification level too much? If casual users see verification screen as same as AaRGee, they will not use gmail for sure.

You should clear your cookies anyway, have you tried through a proxy? If you use an ssl enabled one you should be OK, I use those to get an (at)gmail instead of (at)googlemail, works for me.

Yes, that would make sense. If you are creating a huge amount of Gmails, they are wondering why! They must think you are trying to open several spam accounts.
