Did you receive an email titled: "ACTION REQUIRED - Reminder to verify the accuracy of Whois data"

Does it says you need to verify by using OpenID? They are trying to get the password for your email!
You will be directed to godaddyauthentication.com , a domain registered yesterday.

I have reported this to their registrar and Godaddy.

Thanks for the heads up. Doesn't look like a domain that GoDaddy would use so this definitely looks phishy to me.

They may have seen that you own a domain they want, so they're hoping to get your userID and password so they can steal your domain..

There is tons of scam like this, the best way to avoid any issue if you are unsure when you receive this kind of notification, is to log directly on your registrar control panel. If you don't have any notifications and everything looks good, then it was a scam. Anyway rule #1 is to never open a mail link. (unless you are 100% sure its a valid site)
