Hey, I am a student of Theology and Philosophy and I have just put up a new article on Dualism. The page is an experimental page and an addition to one of my other websites at the moment. If this goes well, I am planning to expand the web page into a fully functioning Philosophical archive and teaching resource.

If you are interested please take a look and see whether you like it or not. I would love some feedback on the page style, content and anything else before I start the entire website. Thanks.

    The web address is http://www.stalberts.org/Philosophy/Dualism.html

    :) Steve

Hehe, hey EliteFlyers. I don't think I could fit the entire articles content into 100 words, I could I suppose sum up the article on 100 words. I think maybe 500 words would be more suitable.

    I will sum it up.
Dualisim (splitting everything into 2 sides) is dumb
Monoisim (the comcept of everything being 1) is more accurate.
in order to evolve beyond dualistic thought you should always look for the 3rd perspective.

Thank you for proving my point, it’s obvious you cannot sum the article up by using just 18 words. I mean come on Darksat ‘splitting everything into 2 sides’ now that’s not very accurate or informative is it lol?

Dualism.. states that the world exists in both the ideal or mental state and the physical state.. meaning that your ideas are not chemical and electrical processes in your mind, but that your ideas exist in their own realm the same as the existance of things existing in a world that can be described with physics.. I lean far more towards functionalism and materialism.. we can certainly describe our thoughts and ideas in a materialistic form.
