I just followed a link to www.shaveeverywhere.com and the site is freaking hysterical. It looks to me like the perfect use for viral marketing for a big company - putting out statements about your product that would never get air time on TV and in a way that makes people laugh and provides decent link bait. Being first to the table with something like this also decreases the effectiveness of competitors - since it's really only funny the first time you see it. This is only viral campaign put out by a big company that I've seen as decent. Sony's was stupid, and offensive to think you couldn't see right through it. Maybe there have been some that I haven't run into, but the ones I have seen look like too much money spent on a not-so-good idea. The testimonials and the "optical inch" section had me rolling. Does anybody have any other good examples of good product-oriented viral campaigns?
Lol, really funny to look at. If philips could make the flash commercial smaller and shorter and place it on some high traffic website, alot of people will find that particular device underneath there christmas three. Thx for the link nevetS
