At this point, if you live Philadelphia and I am not quite sure if it

is all of PA, then if you run a blog, you run ads, and you

even make as much as a penny, then expect a lic fee bill in the mail.

This fee is $50/yr or lifetime fee of $300 - so if you earned a penny

from your blog, and you reported it via income taxes, or you received

a 1099 income tax form, then they got you!

This just tells you how low our government is, because if the gov't finds

a small pot, and they think there is money in it, then they will grab it.

It is not enough that the gov't receives trillions of revenue in other

taxes, then they mishandle and mis-spend our tax dollars, now

they want to go after bloggers with a huge lic fee, and even

if a blogger made a penny...that is so dirty...

What is worse is that our govt knows this is a really bad economy, so they

run out and just create some BS income stream for the state, what is

more worse, when this gets bigger, they hire more employees, then you

can expect even higher lic fees. Our govt knows the people are hurting, but

yet they are going to go out and help themselves. I am really surprised they

did not say they are going after every little website that makes a penny, oh

wait, this is just a test run, give it time, I can assure you if they start

seeing money on this blog income venture, they will next go after websites.

So not only where you honest in reporting your income and paying taxes on

that, now you will be forced to buy a business lic to operate online, how lame!

If this will push through, indeed Government is assured of getting bigger revenues. But if you dug deep into the matter, I don’t see the necessity. Why not look after those companies who aren’t paying right taxes and why chase after earners? Not all internet marketers are earning hundreds or thousands of bucks in a month.

this goes for any kind of revenue? or is there a certain floor for that?? I dont think they will do it for any revenue, there must be something there!
Adsense makes you input your tax info, so it will be reported automatically.. guys wont like that, and I thin adsense may not be happy as well.

How would they know where the bloggers are living? And what if you do the pay-out by Paypal how are they willing to check that? How would the check who is actually earning money from a website?
