I was going by the WHT unix bench thread. Most people I have seen there using that Q9300 processor are getting 500 area. Our server gets over 600. Probally more related to Motherboard Our other servers are Q6600, and its quicker than them
You're comparing a 65nm out of date processor to a 45nm current tech processor. If you're going to compare do it right, it needs to be compared to the Q9000 45nm series processors that way outperform AMD. At this time any current gen Intel processors will outperform any current gen AMD processors.
