PhbBB 3.0 Release Date Finalized - Just 3 More Days To Go

    Are you all ready for this?

    7 years ago phpBB 1.0 was released to the community. Since then, phpBB evolved and grew over the years, now with a strong and healthy community and teams making sure everything runs smooth.

    Everyone raise a glass to phpBB's 7th release birthday. :)

    Release date of phpBB3 Gold:

    13th December 2007 - 17:00 GMT

    I've been using phpbb3 (RC) and its been great, very customizable and lightweight. The only thing I don't like is the user/permissions system which can be a hassle to set up when first setting up the forums

    Thanks for sharing with us. I guess it was worth the wait, phpBB3 really has a great layout and is very user friendly in my opinion, well worth the wait!

    THere is one thing which I am fiting with my phpbb installation and that is User Permission. IT SUCKS BIG TIME :(

    The trick with user permissions is when you start setting up your forum section have it copy the permissions from the default forum it makes when you first install and just keep having it copy permissions when you set up new forums from your other forums. The user permissions thing irritated me too. Looking forward to phpbb3 gold, there's already some really nice mods in development
