Phase and Pace: This section, I am not sure to answer. What type of link building when to use. This is the question. I normally start off with article and press release marketing. Then I move on to other aspects like profile links, blog commenting, forum signatures etc., So can any experience link builders share their strategy here?
i would suggest start with directories as it wont indexed very faster at the same time, then can move to social bookmarking, blog commenting, press release, article syndication, sponsored blog post(it will be realistic to the readers once your site is populated using the methods i ordered),buying link, forum link and then finally to web 2 link building(the web2 link building must be done carefully not to get penality, once you have established authority do it or else better do the other parts and do this part). Good Luck.
Phase and pace. I just do it naturally. a few links here and there every month then as site matures and gains real serp, i do some more intensive link building. too much at start is too unnatural for search engines.
