Phase and Exact search term search query report.

Hi

If i just run phrase and exact match campaigns. Can I find out what was searched for on the phrase matches??

So if i phrase match "air compressors". I can find out if people have searched for "buy air compressors".

Or is this only possible for Broad searches.

I know how to run Search Query Reports, well at least i did till Google recently changed how to do it!

 

Sure, your ads will appear if people search for ( [another words] + air compressors ) or ( air compressors + [another words] ) such as "buy air compressors", "purchase air compressors" or " air compressors photos" .

Your ads will not appear if people search ( [another words] + air + [another words] + compressors )

I understand this. But how do I find out what these [another words] are? From reports?

 

From the keywords tab, click See search terms (it's below the graph), choose all (or tick the boxes only for your phrase match terms and choose 'selected'), then click download, and you'll have all your keywords on an a excel sheet, and you can filter for your phrase matches. There is a delay of about 24 hours for getting all the match terms (as there always was for the old ways of running a report).
After you've done this once, you can replicate the report from the Control Panel and library link on the left hand panel.
