Every chance you get, you degrade our country. Nothing but contempt for your own fucking country. I'm sick of you people.

I think that's something we can all agree on.

A good day for America is always a bad day for the left. This was just another perfect illustration.

Not only that, but democrats (specifically moveon.org) calling him a betrayer before the report was actually released. Twenty years ago, something like that would have blown my mind. Now days, it's just par for the course.

rofl.... I bet all you water carriers haven't even seen the report.

I have it on DVR, feel free to come over... In fact it's on Fox right now. He's got his slides out and he's explaining exactly what's going on.

All the morons calling him "Gen Betrayus" need their asses beat. He's laying down the facts in a military manner. Just because you don't understand it doesn't make him a betrayer, it makes you too slow to grasp what he's saying.

The problem for the republicans is that everyone sees through what they're trying to do.... of course there will be more progress after a troop surge than before it... duh.....

But the American people aren't buying that minor statistical changes will suddenly mean the war was all worth it and we now know why we went in. Of course that's what the republicans (smoke and mirrors party) want you to believe.

It's a really simple game folks.... do whatever it takes to stuff as many troops as he can into Iraq before he leaves office. Then leave it to a democrat to fix. If they fix it, great.... because any possible positive outcome to the war and Bush will of course be there to take credit for it. If they fail..... well... you shoulda elected a republican ;)

Bush may not be the sharpest knife in the kitchen but his political advisers are pretty damn good lol.

Off course the surge is working we have more boots on the ground. Just like when you put more police on the streets crime goes down.

Then leave the country. No one's stopping you. You talk the talk but can you walk the walk?

In America people can voice their feelings and don't have to worry about the state locking them up. It's what made America different than the Soviet Union. If you have a problem with a basic right given to all the people in the Constitution then you can't claim to fully support what America is. That's what I meant.

Gen. Petraeus is an highly regarded as being an smart individual... But he's also been known for making friends with the DC folk...

While I'm not going to put down his testimony, I think it was a very optimistic look at what's going on, especially when the iraqi government failed to meet 11 out of 18 "benchmarks for success"...

What did people expect him to say?

"You know how everyone thought I was expert in Guerrilla warfare; well I went to Iraq and I completely failed but let's not talk about that now. Can I become chief of staff since Iraq is no fun?":D
