Well, I for one would never tar Google with the same brush as the Mafia.. Although the analogy is a bit out of whack, I can see where you are coming from. But I don't necessarily agree.
Depending on the support, I do not think a company (any company) could ignore the concerns of its workers.

I think people have to keep in mind that this is in no way an attempt to dig our heels in and try and change Google's way of conducting business. It is just a way of letting Google know about the concerns of its honest publishers.

    Some concerns,

Accounts disabled without warning or any valid reason given, and no possible way to ever get your account re-enabled.

Protection for publishes against been click bombed. (surely there is a way to discount or ignore suspicious or multiple clicks from the same IP without disabling the (innocent?) publishers account)

Some sort of guidance put in place, to stare publishers in the right direction when there accounts are due to be canceled for non performance, rather than slamming the door in there face and saying don't bother trying to apply for a new account.

Those are just a few, If it wasn't 1:30 in the morning I could come up with a few more.. but maybe tomorrow..

And as for the people that say don't bother, Google wont listen..
Well with enough people voicing there concerns then of course they will listen.
And some say "the only way to make a change is for webmasters to get together and leave adsense!!
Well, that sounds to me like someone cutting off their nose just to spite their face... it just doesn't make sense..

anyway.. after navigating around all the hurdles I came across yesterday, I think there could be a very effective (non-destructive) way for people to voice there concerns and opinions without fair of retribution..

But I am slow at typing and need to think it through a bit more so I will leave that idea till tomorrow...

    Cheers
    James
