'muncle' - u wud feel the pinch if u wake up some day and found ur account was disabled 'bcoz it posed a threat to advertisers'

If you receive this "threat to advertisers" email from Google it means that you have copied content , no content, or have broken the TOS . It does not mean you have had invalid clicks.

But that is not really an issue. I doubt Google will lose 75% of its publishers, because most people who use Adsense don't have any problem. You just don't hear from them because they have nothing to complain about. Many of Google's publishers are huge sites like cnn.com and about.com, which aren't having any issues. And even if all of the publishers quit the program, there would still be ads published with the search results.

But you are right, if you disagree with Google's policies, the best thing to do is to stop using their program. And, yes, if a very large number of publishers - especially premium publishers - did that they might reconsider their policies. But, honestly, I don't see that happening.

I doubt you will have much of an impact. Google does clearly stat that it has authority over its accounts.

adsense disabled me and wont even respond to my appeal. you cant even call them, far as I've tried. It's the most nazi like treatment I've ever seen. I wasn't abusing the so called "privelege" of being an adsense publisher at all. And i seriously doubt anyone sabotaged me, but I could be wrong there, that would be the most likely reason I got disabled. So, yeah, I'm all in on this. There should be a process to disable an account, as in a phone interview of the publisher, providing a tool for publishers to see if they are being back-stabbed by a rival (something like us being able to see an abundance of useless clicks from IP's) or SOMETHING showing Google will work WITH you to stop abuse against you. Give US the opportunity to do something about it (like blocking those IP's from your site) BEFORE disabling. THAT would be what I call working WITH a publisher, not disabling them and slamming the door in their face as if Google were the greatest thing since Coca Cola! I think something like this should be proposed, and if they're good enough to write a piece of "proprietary" software to PROVE a publisher is up to no good, surely they can write a tool for you to see abuse BEFORE they approach you so aggressively. And having said that, they could sell said "proprietary software" for billions to the likes of AdBrite, CJ, and other large affiliate firms......so why don't they?

i am not seeing active support. This idea going to be in basket. If anyone really wants this to happen then please post your views. I am thinking to have petition on one online petition site where you can vote and all that thing.

We publishers should create a sort of union that can protect the publishers.
