pet turtle

    hi ,

    does anyone has a pet turtle?

    i have one but can't really find a good vet in my area.

    my turtle is doing ok but at times it has a sudden loss of apetite and it stops eating fora day or 2 , don't know why?

    if anyone can also suggest me on any good turtle food or anything else which could be helpful?

    I'm not a big expert on turtles, but as far as I know it's natural for them not to eat every day. When I had a turtle as a kid the only thing it used to eat was lettuce and other types of green vegetables, I don't think they have any specific "food".

    hmmmmmmm thats sounds a bit different to the info i was given by the guy who sold me teh turtle. He gave me a turtle food can and asked me to fede it twice a day.

    feeding lettuce is a good idea, i'll try doing that :) thanks buddy
