the majority of big pet sites have a drop in backlinks according to their site command in google. I imagine this willgo back up when the big G is done their update, as all of them can not be penalyzed. Anybody have a pet site with decrease in backlinks?
I noticed it on one of my client's pet site. I hope everything goes back to normal after the update. (Btw that site has quality, unique content, with quality backlinks so I don't think Google penalized it.)
all the big pet sites i keep an eye on are showing a decrease in bl, im pretty sure google is in the midst of updating something significant.
Maybe, time will tell i guess. Just seems odd that every pet site we track is reporting a decrease. Maybe google is just showing less.
no i am pretty sure there is no penalty here. sites that are supposed to rank are ranking as always, we have seen a significant jump in our own traffic.
