    Greetings,

Currently we are using prism for our billing system. I desperatly want to get away from Prism and have been checking out a few different packages such as Optigold and Platypus.

My questions to the Optigold Users are as follows.

    1) I saw a post that suggested there may be a *nix flavor of Optigold in the future, is this true?

    2) Where optigold have any problems running with Win2k3 Server + FileMaker Pro 6 server?

    3) Can and how efficient is Optigold at firing commands via HTTP Post from both the web interface as well as from the server?

    4) Finally how easily customizable is the Web interface?

    Thank you for your time,
    Clint

    1. It's being worked on (no ETA).

    2. You would want to use FileMaker Server 5.5 (there never was a FMSever 6).

    3. It can do it just fine. You define your events under the server events setup.

    4. You can change the look/feel completely.

    Shawn,

You keep saying no ETA on an upgrade to this product.

Explain to me how I do risk mitigation and business continuity planning if this
is a core part of running a business?

this is very frustrating to me

It's not possible, if you need different functionality now, you would want to look at something else.
