    So in short - I see gray background in Opera and it seems to be a some kind of bug.

    I like the splash page, what I would do is incorporate the colors into your blog template because it looks so plain with the white background.

    the layout is okay , but the site is too simple. Recreate the hover for the menu , maybe even the visible of the menu, something more geometrical would fit perfectly.

    maybe you can delete the code for description in header.php. then only google will see this words not the visiters.
