Hi everyone ! I have a website about IT and I am using adsense in this IT related site's blog. But when I open my site, Adsense is always showing the personalized ads. For example i am searching "hotels for holiday" nowadays. And almost all the ads in my site showing to me is about "Hotels". But I want to show ads about my site's content only. 1- Is Personalized Ads decreasing the money that i am earning ? 2- Does it make sense to disable personalized ads ? (PS: I disabled it once but still showing me the personlized ads , but i want to know that is it logical or not )
If you browse something on your PC and open your site than Google will display personalized ads. I don't think so that it will impact your earnings. Just clear your browser cookies and cache and than open your website first and check the ads.
the personalized ads that you mean, is retargeting its showing previous websites that you open, that using adwords/another ad network so to remove it, just clear your browser cache
