    Hi everyone,

I am trying to make a blog about my daughter for family members, some are older and really not computer literate and find signing up frustrating.

Is there a service or a way to host a blog that is private but you can give access through a link without having to sign up?

Why don't you create accounts for all your family members and give them the info? Won't take you a lot of time I think...
Other option - make your site invisible to search engines (robots.txt and meta tags) and you won't have any visitors..

if you want to make it really easy - go to www.blogger.com. Look around; it might work for you and your family.

I have a good suggestion and solution for you.

You can lock your posts with passwords. just share the password with your family and good people. I think this will be a good way for you.

Or only allow invited people, you can get this feature in both blogger and wordpress. I have seen many blogs with these kind of feature used.

    Good time.
