Personal notepad please !

I would suggest you to add personal notepad in usercp as in namepros.

Its really required to save some day to day notes and to keep some tracks of information

 

Need one of the mods to get you feedback on this good luck with your enquiry and it is always helpful that many on DP are working together to be creative and forward thinking

Whether it gets implemented is another matter but it is always worthy to strive for improved services, subject to them being approved and deemed as a benefit to all aspects of the forum

Because it makes no sense. Or at least to me, it doesn't. Why would Shawn want all your personal stuff hosted on his server? Why would he want to pay for the bandwidth?

'Just because it's easy for me' isn't really a good reason IMO. It needs to add value to the members and the board at large. Those make for good suggestions.

Yes, it's handy indeed. If I could do my grocery shopping on DP, that would be handy too. That way I don't have to move the cursor to 'Bookmarks -> Shopping -> Ocado' and save a click. Meethere would save a few clicks not having to go Outlook -> Notes or Start -> Applications -> Notepad or http://www.google.com/notebook

A personal notepad on DP containing text only would take lot of bandwidth ? Its similar to posting on forums.

I just gave my suggestion on DP when I saw a personal notepad on Namepros forum which helped me a lot.
Its all depend on you , whether to apply or not.
If you won't keep, then also we are going to come on DP

 

Actually, I have nothing to do with the decision to implement it or not. Shawn is the one. Just giving my views here.

I don't get why you would want to have a notepad embedded on DP.
