Hi all Please excuse my stupidity here, because i know very little about RSS feeds, but i am trying to understand them. Basically I heard (or quite possibly could just have dreamt it), that you can establish your own home page, and RSS feed your favourite or most visted sites, blogs etc. As you can probably tell, i have no idea what I am talking about, but i was wanting to know if it is possible to set up my own home page somewhere, where i can list all my favourite sites. Cheers
A RSS feed (Really Simple Syndication) simply is a method for users to keep track of frequently updated content. Blogs are the most useful of example. The user than uses a program called a RSS reader to view all of thier feeds at once. I personally use the feed readers built into Safari and Firefox to read my RSS feeds. Whenever a author of a feed I read updates his or her site a number pops up on my screen saying how many updates I haven't read. That being said it is possible to have a RSS reader on your homepage that could list all your bookmarks, and blogs but it would make more sense to just list them in normal HTML. Hope that helps!
