How many of you have your own personal blog. A site just dedicated to you and what is on your mind and not something to generate money? I just launched my own site from a URL I have owned for years but done nothing with... It is http://www.simoneaton.com and your thoughts on this would be appreciated and the entire idea on blogs. The main reason for my own blog is so I can add entries to it during my travels.
i have a personal blog which i started when i was in high school. it's funny when i get to read my entries again; how i think when i was younger. my thoughts are pretty immature and it shows in my personal writings. XD
I had a personal blog but I just wasn't updating it. I think it is a nice idea if you want to do it, but watch your personal branding if you are personally blogging under a domain which includes your name. It is very easy for potential employers to google you and find your personal stuff.
Personal blogs are like diaries containing personal information which most of the people fail to update regularly and thereby losing interest in maintaining them. Another reason for their failure is they rarely bring in any money unless you are a celebrity. BTW, I don't have personal blogs.
Yes I do watch my branding as I am using my name but it is already known by most and I am not posting too many personal things people do not already know about me. I am going use it to post interesting facts I find online. lol.... yep blogging for money is fun...
Well, I am also having a personal blog. And I do use it to earn also if something like that comes to me. - Digital -
I have my own blog! running for more than 2 years! But it not generates money! as it traffic & keyword integration suggests
Like most everyone here, I have a personal blog that I haven't updated for months. I keep meaning to add to it, but I've always been pretty lousy at keeping up with a diary. The main benefit I find is that I'm able to look back at photos and videos of the kids and read what I was thinking about the different stages in their lives. You've made me realise that I really must get back into it again, because in 30 years' time it will be a beautiful record that I can share with their children -and possibly use it to blackmail them Thanks, Jane
