I was checking out some research on my site ( http://www.surfimages.com ) and found this, can you explain this to me? Thank You!

    Permanent Redirect Not Found

Search engines may think www.surfimages.com and surfimages.com are two different sites. You should set up a permanent redirect (technically called a "301 redirect") between these sites. Once you do that, you will get full search engine credit for your work on these sites.

that's right coz' search engines can crawl and index those two versions.. the non-www and with www that is why it is recommended to use a permanent redirection (301) so bots, backlins will just flow on just one version.. to learn more about 301 this one might help: http://www.webconfs.com/how-to-redirect-a-webpage.php

    Well, the site is up.
About the Redirect Not Found, you should select a preferred URL and redirect the other to it

actually, search engines looks "www.surfimages.com" and "surfimages.com" as two different sites. permanent redirection not found means your old webpage has been shifted or redirect to new webpage permanently. this redirection is also called 301 error in terms of technical language.
