Permanent .EDU link value?

    hi

    i have a domain registered which has a .EDU link for about 2-3 years now

    please tell me how much does the value of the domain increase because of it? (the domain is undeveloped)

    (i have seen monthly .EDU links going for XX atleast. Mine is a permanent link)

    most of the people are believing gov and edu links and web sites have more value than the other sites but i dont think that they have more value. edu and gov links has value like the other links.

    if the site is undeveloped and has no ".edu style" backlinks, then it's worth the registration fee... not much more
