Permalink Depth

    I'm trying to add a further directory to a permalink, the current one (below) is the parent directory;

    But I want to add pages under that, so as follows;

    domain.com/crosswords/french/basic/index
    domain.com/crosswords/french/basic/1
    domain.com/crosswords/french/basic/2
    domain.com/crosswords/french/basic/3

    and so on.

    Whenever I go to create one of these with these settings:

    I get this: [​IMG]

    Obviously I want it to be /crosswords/french/basic/INDEX

    but it wont let me?
