Perl And Linux Question?

    Hey,

    Is Perl a language that you use with Linux in anyway if that makes sense, I don't know how to ask what am trying to get at but is there a connection between Linux and Perl anywhere?

    Perl comes standard on most linux distros but there is no direct connection between the two. It is a programming/scripting language available for use on linux. What is you are after?

    Perl works on unix,linux,windows that way it is almost platform independent.
