Perfect placements for adsense on a forum? Am I wrong?

    I think I did a very good job on my ad placements on my forum.

    The click rate is nice and the income growing monthly.

    However, I am always open for new ideas or critique/feedback.

    Google might not like the text links at the top as they sort of look like they are navigation for the page

    Last month they made 20% of my income for this forum ;)

    I wrote google after I implemented them first and they said my site is within google TOS.
    I have them running for over a year now on 2 of my forums.

    I have a somewhat low CTR as well but still, my income is ok for that ;)
