1.5-2% would be better but depends on the length of your article. For keyword placement, I will add the main keyword at the 1st paragraph and second or alternative/synonym keyword at the second paragraph. Do mention your keyword at the article body section and the last paragraph. In total, 4 keywords in each article was just perfect for SEO.

You mean, 1 to 3 keywords per each 100 words.

    Am I correct?

    Hey there,

You want 1 instance for every 100 words of your main keyword phrase that you are trying to rank for, so for every 500 words you type your main keyword should appear 5 times. This should be carried on for every 100 words on every post and page on your site.

Also, you should mix up the instances, using 5 different instance every time you type your keyword. This means that you should type your keyword regular, in caps, in italics, in bold and underlined once for every 5 times you type it.

There's a lot more but those are the basics, message me and I'll be happy to share!

    Matt

Yes it is very important for Google SEO. Let say your keyword is "Blog Theme", then the synonym keyword would probably "Website Template". This is what we call it as keyword variation.

Yes, you're right. 3 keywords/100 words is good enough.
