about 50% some times and now they kind of fell to 25% to 30% Looks like people stopped wasting their time. My $0.02 Thanks
heheeh Would you guys define quality?... heres what i look for... 1. Design... if its weak or horrible its gone.. 2. Grammer... To many mistakes its gone.. 3. functioning links.. All links should work.. 4. Content... It should have decent content 5. Made for adsence ... Deleted those are mine.. and my idea of a poor site thx malcolm
If differs from person to person. Remember that Featured site submitted to dump that I showed you the other day that I rejected? You said it was ok, but it didn't meet my standards. It's all individuality based.
I definitely agree with those criterias. I used to check for good PageRank also but nowadays I'm pretending to be a good guy and I add young websites with good quality. I'd say that my rejection rate is about 50% as I don't accept gambling and adult websites because I use sub domain directories to my primary websites not as only web directory domains. With the new directory quality guidelines that Google will (or already did) place in action, the link quality is very high and all directory owners should be careful what they are linking to especially if that's their primary business or have their directories as sub domains (for internal link juice) as I do... Cheers, Venetsian.
Agreed everyone has his taste... Ps thx for letting link-stars.com in ...I luv that PR6 details page thx malcolm
As of today 62.6% of sites accepted ... We wrote our own spam protection routines so there are fewer sites submitted with unacceptable topics. Rejected sites are prevented from re-submitting for 6 months, so we don't see the same crap sites week after week. We also send a confirmation email ... bounce backs are deleted without review. Mostly what is left for manual rejection is MFA, E-Books, and Blogs with no content.
