    Hello

    Talking in terms of crude bandwidth consumption / total used bandwidth, which percentage of my visitors are represented by non human visitors (bots, crawlers, spammers and so on) Thank you to take time to fill in the poll

    If your site is regularly updated and therefore crawled by the SE, you may see a higher % of bots coming. But for smaller static websites never updated I would say less than 10%

    My spider traffic is in the 60% region by bandwidth but it's on it's way down because I'm getting more and more visitors and no more spiders.

    If you rate it by page views, however, it's more like 95% spiders because I use 304 headers, even on my PHP pages and Bots don't request supporting files like css and images.

    I did have one month where Googlebot got caught in a spider trap (I didn't mean to create one, but there were dynamically generated links that would go on forever... and the bot started following them.) and downloaded over 2GB !
